Can I pre-register and set up a "user account" in the online system prior to Registration?
No. Returning campers may log into their account to update personal information and check their password, but not select a camp. New campers will be asked to create an account on registration day. If you would like to login to your Active account to update information prior to registration day, you can do so at this link: CLICK HERE
Where are the camps located?
At the University of Washington. Check in for each camp will take place in Alaska Airlines Arena on the UW campus. Throughout each session, campers will also participate in drills and games in the Intramural Building (IMA), which is next to Alaska Airlines Arena. The beach courts are located nearby, on the north side of the IMA. All camp courts are just a few minutes' walk apart. For a campus map, CLICK HERE.
What should I do to get on the waitlist?
CLICK HERE. Campers should register for their desired camp to be placed on the wait list. This will get you in the system and if a spot opens up, you will be notified. It does not cost anything to sign up for the wait list and it keeps you in our system for next year as well.
How do I cancel my camp registration?
Email email@example.com. Please include your camper's name and any other relevant information.
Can I get a refund? Yes. A full refund minus a $25 administrative fee will be returned if cancellation is received by our office before 5:00pm two weeks (14 days) prior to the start of your registered camp.
Are payment plans for tuition available?
Yes. There is a $50 deposit required with each registration. Campers may choose to pay in full at registration or set up a payment plan that will include installments automatically charged to the credit card on your account. There are no additional fees to set up a payment plan.
How are players divided during camp? Players are initially divided by age and experience based on the information we receive during registration. The first day of each camp session includes an evaluation in order to make sure that players of similar skills are on a court together. Our goal is to have players on the court where they can learn best and improve the most.
Can I move to a different group?
Yes. We will try to evaluate as best we can, but we also want you to have a positive experience. If you are unhappy, please talk to any one of the staff coaches during camp time. However, please recognize that assigning groups is one of our camp's top priorities, and we do our best to put everyone on the best team for them possible
Can I stay with my friend in the same group?
Yes. If there is someone that you want to be with during the whole week of camp, please let us know as soon as possible. After the initial evaluation, you may be asked to move courts based on our numbers, teaching styles, and the abilities of the players on each court. If it is more important to be together, the campers should talk with their coach when changes are made.
Are there dorms available for camp?
Yes, but only for our Team Camp.
Where do I park? Should I buy a parking permit?
The E-18 Parking Lot. This parking lot is located north of the arena. The UW parking department will again issue "drop-off" permits which allow you to park for 45 minutes around the beginning and end of each camp session. CLICK HERE to access the permit for your registered camp. This permit will allow you to park and walk your camper in and out each dapy. If you plan to stay longer and watch, you should buy a permit for the longer period of time. Parking is free on campus beginning Saturday at noon through Monday at 6:00am. Please follow all campus posted signs for more information.
Is there supervision before and after camp?
No. The Day Camp staff will be available beginning at 8:45am and ending at 3:45pm. The Night Camp staff will be available beginning at 4:45pm and ending at 8:15pm.
Can I bring lunch to a camper?
Yes. Day Campers should bring a sack lunch with them each day. However, it is allowed for you to bring a lunch to them at camp. Campers will have approximately 50 minutes for lunch. The lunch start times will vary during the four days of Day Camp, but will begin sometime between 11:00 and 11:45am. The Team Camp will have lunch and dinner provided to all campers and coaches.
Will there be a trainer at camp?
Yes. There will be 1-2 athletic trainers on the courts. Trainers will be able to treat injuries and tape if necessary.
Is prorated tuition available for any camps?
Yes. We have recently made an update to our camp policy regarding prorated camp discounts. We are now offering an option to attend two days of Day Camp 1 or Day Camp 2 for a price of $300. To request this prorated tuition, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org at least 7 days before the start of your camp.
